Type 1 – centre negative 5,5/2,1mm DC plug
Also calleded the BOSS standard. This Flex type should be used to power the vast majority of the pedals on the market like BOSS, TC Electronic, Strymon, Dunlop, MXR, Catalinbread, ZVex and many many more.
Type 1 Flex cables are black and fitted with a centre negative 5,5/2,1mm DC plug. It’s the most common type also called the BOSS standard. For the majority of applications we offer this Flex cable type with angled (L-shaped) plug and a 10mm barrel. These are available with cable lengths 15, 30, 50 and 80cm. For pedals with recessed power sockets or other special needs we also offer this Flex cable type with a straight (I-shaped) plug or one with a longer 12mm barrel, both with 50cm cable length.
